I recently finished my program in Biotechnology – Advanced, and in the past, I acquired a B.Sc. in Biology and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry.
I have several internships in areas such as neuroscience, neuroendocrinology, molecular and cellular biology, and Biochemistry, where I learned different techniques such as laboratory animal management, neurosurgery in brain and dorsal spine on rats in models of neurodegenerative diseases, research about the brain progesterone receptor, cloning and protein expression of the TIMP 4 protein and the light antibody lambda chain native and mutants to determine the thermodynamic stability. In other laboratories, I had the opportunity to transfect U2OS cells to express and immunoprecipitatate eIF4E and the mutant S53A in cancer research. Another research was the study of LRF as one of the regulators in the metabolic pathways and transcription downstream of TORC1 in mammals.
