In a world that is moving towards a greener and more circular economy, I feel accountable as a forthcoming Chemical Engineer with an Energy and Environment minor to help build a more sustainable future by developing or innovating efficient, cleaner, and affordable energy. My passion towards improving energy systems all started with a single potato. As I was walking around “Toys“R” Us” as a kid, I remember coming across a potato battery kit that didn’t sound realistic to me at that time despite my love for potatoes in a foodie manner.
However, years later, after learning about Electrolytic cells and Redox reaction, I researched how the ripeness of a potato would affect the voltage output for the IB Physics Internal Assessment and concluded that fascinatingly, rotten potato produces more voltage. Along with my insatiable desire for constant self-improvement and gaining both hard-skills and soft-skills, I am always enthusiastic for a game of basketball or badminton, eating out or take a cup of coffee outside with friends/colleagues. I also love going on adventures and am always willing to try new things! (recently picked up hiking and skiing) Interests: Hard-skills: Valnav, Mosaic, GeoScout, Excel, SQL, Python, HYSYS simulation, Aspen Plus, MATLAB.
Industry: Oil &Gas, Liquified Natural Gas, Carbon Capture & Storage, Natural Gas and Hydrogen for power use, Fuel cells, Oil sands, Elecrtic Vehicles, lithium - ion batteries.
