With over 15 years of experience in user experience design and research, I am a passionate and creative UX leader and design strategist at CIBC. I lead and mentor a team of 12 designers, working on various projects across the bank to deliver engaging and effective digital experiences that drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
As a certified usability analyst (CUA), I apply design thinking and human-centered design principles to define, design, and test user journeys, storyboards, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes. I collaborate with product, sales, and business teams to understand and translate complex business needs into successful solutions. I also share my expertise and insights with the UX community as a board member of UXPA Toronto and a part-time professor at Humber College.
As Senior Manager I lead and mentor a team of 12 designers placed in various projects throughout the bank.
As Design Principal I work closely with the Director of Product Delivery Acquisition, in a partnership capacity to define a roadmap of future state capabilities for open account that is based on design best practices, industry trends and business needs.
My role involves defining the overall design practice for all account open experiences. Helping to translate complex business needs into successful experiences that are designed to convert.
