I am a undergrad at Wilfrid Laurier with aspirations to attend Queens Law School. I am a hard working student and an experienced solo traveller. My passion for the legal world is aided by love for reading and my persuasive writing skills.
I have worked since I was 15 years old where I spend much of my teen years working at the Kingston staple Chez Piggy where I began as a dishwasher and finished my time as a server. After secondary school I took a year off and travelled to New Zealand where I worked at a bakery and a stint as a tour guide for a group of young traveller. Most recently I have spent the last two summers off honing in on my people’s skills by selling window cleaning services door to door where I earned my company tens of thousands of dollars.
At Laurier I have studied the nature of the political world where I have written large case studies; researched policy and practice; and utilized excel and SPSS to understand macro data trends. More specifically, I have studied civil and criminal law through introduction law courses the university has provided. Currently I am minoring in economics which has helped the development of my critical thinking skills and practically helped me by calculating business profits, all the while giving me tools to make educated buisness recommendations.
