➢ To perform a visual and dimensional inspection of parts, measure the material’s hardness, and enter these findings in EPICS. Look for material defects, before & during packings, such as but not limited to scratches, dents, and distortion to the profile. Verify that the weights and counts are accurate. Perform dimensional inspection according to the requirements on applicable orders.
➢ Make suggestions for improvement & assist in fixing problems.
➢ Comply with all quality-related policies, procedures, and system requirements. Before packaging, the material must be red-tagged, and QA must be alerted if the hardness is out of specification. Ensure that the items are packed according to the pack dates and in the order of priority shown in the WIP Report.
➢ Prepare a log of nonconforming products to keep a record of nonconforming products and the nature of defects for improvement actions that need to be taken by customers.
