• From 2013 to 2015 : Head of Geomatics & Surveying Department (Morocco)

  • Three-dimensional analysis for the choice of block sizes of the Geological Block Model;

• From 2016 to 2021 : Open Pit Mining Manager (Morocco)
  • Development of LOM planning and budget;
  • Development of functional work plans from the LOM Plan;
  • Annual production of 1.2 MT of copper ore and 2.5 Mm³ of waste rock;
  • Monitoring the open pit KPI and charges (weekly and monthly basis);
  • Design of drilling & blasting patterns to reduce mining dilution and improve recovery;
  • Compliance with pit design and pushbacks;
  • Compliance with all statutory and company standards of safety and environment; 
  • Optimization of cash costs of the activity (implementation of cost-saving activities).
• From 2022 to 2023 : Mine Planning Manager (Sudan)
  • Compilation of data, technical and economic parameters for the optimization of mining projects;
  • Analysis and configuration for choice of the ultimate and optimal pits;
  • Mineral Reserves estimation and economic analysis;
  • Design of mining projects (pits and Puschbacks) respecting the geotechnical parameters;
  • Strategic planning (LOM Plan) by pushbacks and short term planning;
  • Review annual reserve preparation and manage the consolidation of ore reserve statements;
  • Continuous improvement of mine planning and scheduling;
  • Preparation of annual business plans and reports;
  • Updating the life of mine design whilst simultaneously incorporating efficiencies and best practice;
  • Development of budgets including costing and financial forecasts.
