Hussein Kassam is a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law - Programme de Common Law Français (2021) and the Faculty of Social Sciences with a Specialization in Political Science (2021).
During his time in law school, Hussein participated in competitions including, the Walker Health Law Moot, and was awarded along with his co-counsel, the Award for Best Factum Appellant.
Hussein’s work and volunteer experience has been an invaluable part of his academic career supporting The David W. Scott Centre for Justice (Pro Bono Ontario), Reach Canada, the Health Law Students Association as VP of Francophone Affairs, and working on Parliament Hill as a Bilingual Interpreter.
Hussein is currently is a Licensed Barrister and Solicitor with the Law Society of Ontario.
