HyunBae Choi

Hello! My name is HyunBae Choi, and I'm thrilled to have recently graduated from BCIT's Computer Systems Technology program. I'm a big believer in creating innovative and efficient solutions, and I'm passionate about using my skills to make a difference.

I have experience with a variety of programming languages, including Python, Java, C#, Ruby, and JavaScript, and I'm also familiar with frameworks like React, Node.js, Express.js, Three.js, and Rails. On top of that, I've had the chance to work with cloud services like AWS and Docker.

My professional experiences come from the two internships I did during my time at BCIT. I worked for BC Centre for Aquatic Health Sciences and Talent Marketplace as an intern software developer! During my internships, I worked mostly with React, JavaScript, Express.js, Node.js, SQL and cloud services such as Docker and AWS to build full-stack web applications.

During my time at BCIT’s Computer Systems Technology program, I have honed my skills in a variety of programming languages, including Python, Java, C, and JavaScript, and using these languages with appropriate frameworks and libraries, such as React and AWS, I have worked on several personal and group projects, including a full-stack web application used as a laboratory information management system for BC Centre for Aquatic Health Sciences. These projects gave me experience in collaborative development, version control using Git, and project management using Agile methodologies. I also gained experience designing and implementing databases for SQL and NoSQL.
