• Transported loads up to 8,000 tons and over 100 cars containing hazardous chemicals, coal, fuel and grain.
• Handle and coordinate safe movement of multi-million-dollar trains with focus on safety and customer service.
• Available 24hrs, reporting for duty within 90 minutes of notification; gathered required documents, including clearances for self, the engineer, and crew.
• Accomplished safe loading and unloading procedures, control and monitored freight and passenger train safety during transit; maintained exceptional safety record as Yard Master. 
• Once the train was in transit and transiting various yards, coordinated with the dispatcher, after setting cars, accounted for and documented the placement of rail cars containing hazardous materials in accordance with regulation.
• Inspected crew and passing trains, preformed general repairs, and safety inspections, maintain crew schedules.
