I have recently Completed a Master of Applied Science degree form TMU/Ryerson for which my thesis was the Optimization of C-Band DFB fiber laser. I designed a short (22mm) DFB fiber laser with a Sub kHz line-width by utilizing a novel apodization mask enabling uni-directional output. I also designed a passive bi-metal thermal compensation packaging which resulted in center wavelength fluctuation of only 2 pm from 25-50 degrees Celsius. I am very passionate about the photonics field and am incredibly eager to begin my career.
Developed a novel Fiber Bragg Grating Pressure sensor, which was temperature insensitive.
Worked closely with FIBOS towards practically applying the sensor in real-world settings, and ensuring that the sensor would meet clients’ needs
Developed lesson plans for Undergraduate Electrical engineering students.
Supervised Electrical lab experiments, to ensure that all the students were operating the equipment safely and successfully demonstrating the skills learned from the course material.
Conducted evaluations, and assisted in marking exams.
Created AutoCad blueprints for electrical panels from hand-drawn sketches.
Worked with the owner and electricians to ensure the quality of the installation met consumer demands.
Certified member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
Certified to provide instruction in Bouldering and Top-rope climbing in accordance to the Standards of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG).
Responsible for managing risk in the facility
