Ileanna Gowans

I am a dedicated employee, looking for a job I can be passionate about. I am detail-oriented and highly organized, while still being able to multitask and manage competing priorities. I am a proven leader and I am always looking for ways to help my team succeed. I take pride in my ability to teach others effectively and in way that shares my joy for learning. I am passionate about organization and love to facilitate and track progress and improvements.

At Oxford Learning, I use a combination of in-house and outside resources to teach children (3-17) English, math, French, study skills, and time management. This involves:

• Keeping a positive&friendly attitude and developing rapport, while achieving productivity goals
• Teaching and aiding students with research skills and resource acquisition
• Organizing and researching new materials and resources for students
• Finding ways to inspire a love of learning and knowledge in diverse students
• Teaching and logging student activity&progress in a hybrid format (starting during COVID)

I am finish a bachelors degree at Mount Allison University, majoring in philosophy, minoring in mathematics. In this degree I have had the experience to use and grow both my writing and analytical abilities.
