Own the modelling layer behind operations and finance reporting: 100+ dbt models on Snowflake across 15+ production pipelines, sourced from SAP, SieSales and other enterprise systems, delivered as curated datasets into Power BI dashboards.

• Work directly with business stakeholders to turn reporting requests into models, then validate outputs with front-end developers and testers before release.
• Built a set of dbt macro tests covering row-count explosion after joins, attribute consistency across loads, and null and format validation. Recurring data defects now surface at pull request instead of in production.
• Co-built an internal people and skills directory in Power Apps with a SharePoint back end, now used by 500+ managers and employees across Portugal, Germany, India and Switzerland. Replaced a legacy lookup process and is still in production.
• Cut model runtime by roughly 40% and reduced Snowflake compute by dropping unused XML and VARIANT columns from broad SELECT reads, so those columns are no longer scanned at query time.
• Deliver within full CI/CD: pull request review, separate dev, staging and production environments, automated tests before merge, incremental models, and scheduled production jobs in dbt Cloud.
• Ran knowledge-sharing sessions that spread the testing approach across a seven-person international engineering team.
