I am working in Petrogas-Oman, since last four year as Consultant Prod. Technology/ Artificial Lifting.
Over 42 Years experince in Oil Industry.I have been heavily involved in oil operations in the Middle East during my working career. I have executed several innovative techniques to increase overall oil production. I have enhanced production from wells by installing ESP and Gas lift systems. Extensive experience in planning, designing, and production of oil using state-of the-art technologies.
I am a competent Petroleum Engineer with the specialised knowledge in Artificial Lifting / Production Technology, having emphasis on ESPs. I am a recognised ESP expert, written/presented 8 SPE Papers (Houston/2002, Mealf Dubai/2003, Houston CT Workshop April/09).I have worked with world class Major Oil Companies in Middle East as Saudi Aramco (for 3 ½ ) and Kuwait Oil Company for over 20 years , wherein I lead the Artificial Lifting Team, as Senior Petroleum Engineer. As Senior Contracts Engineer, I prepared contract documents on Artificial Lift Leasing out & Various Oil Services Contracts (as Centrilift, Halliburton, Schlumburger etc).
Contract strategy in KOC was changed form Purchase to Leasing, on preparation of my Lease out document. I have worked in various aspects of Petroleum Engineering, mainly comprising as:Reservoir exploitation & Production optimization by Artificial Lift as, Submersible Pumps, Progressive Cavity Pumps and Gaslifting
Worked as Consultanat to PDO, in ESP Design, Operation, Maitenance and Optimisation. Carried out studies to enhance production,curtail Production Deferment due to ESP Tripping, Delayed Downhole Installations and Lack of Equipment Availability.Increased Runlife by 30% on 750 ESPs installations ( by Centrilift, WoodGroup ESP and Reda).
Time to Trouble Shooting and resulting in 50 % reduction in Production Deferment. Prepared plan to increase ESP Population to 1250 by 2013. Carried out project form concept to commissioning and monitoring the Project
-Wire line Retrievable ESP, A shell/PDO Project, carried out successfully in RM-36
-ESP Sand Management-ADV,
-Y-Tool Installations ( RN-49,50, RM-165,67 &168)
-MLM ESP Study-conducted, recommended to use ADV,GRE lined tbg, Antifoaming treatments at WH.Improve ESP RL From 520 days to 830 days.

I worked as Snr. Prod. Technologis/ Artificial Lift Specialist in PDO, for 13 years.
Study on Zauliyah Field (Feasible Artificial Lifting Mode), Prepared stimulation programs to boost water injection and oil production. Opptimised production in ESP operated wells, Carried out Sand Control (Gravel Pack/WWS Completions), Horizontal and Ultra Short Radius well completions & Smart well design. Worked over 79 wells in PDO/Rima field during last year (2003), reduced deferment to nil, restored 3500 m3/d oil, saved $ 2.0 million and scored 3 Shukran Awards.
Carried out GL to ESP conversions & has substantially optimised the field production. Enhanced ESP runlife/production (by 400 m3/d) in five ZL wells by recommending installation of Floater pumps/ VSDs.
