Isabel Aziz

Hello! My name is Isabel and I am an RPN nursing student starting my second year in september 2024. I chose nursing because I enjoy the connections i make with different clients and love giving them the comfort and help that other health care professionals may not have the time for. During my free time I enjoy listening to music and going on walks.

During my first year, I attended Michael Garron Hostpital in east york and completed my placement there. I worked once a week on the stroke/oncology/geriatric unit. I had 2 patients each week plus additionally helping my primary nurse and peers. My duties would include learning about various diseases of my patients, taking vitals, learning and administering medication under supervision, pericare, ambulatory care, assisted feeding, and cleaning patients rooms. I really enjoyed my time there and looked forward to it each week. I'm very lucky to say I gained experience from Michael Garron, it was an amazing hospital.

I'm currently a RPN student attending Georgebrown College. I am starting my second year in September 2024. I anticipate to graduate in April of 2025.
