I am a CMA/CPA, receiving my designation November 2003. I practised this designation working at SGI in the Accountants Payable division for 13 years.
I am currently the Executive Director for the Prairie Storm Minor Hockey Association. I schedule games and practices. I negotiate ice contracts and sell unused ice as required. I build registration forms for Annual Hockey Season, Fall Camps, signups for team volunteer positions, and numerous other forms as requested. I also do their bookkeeping and participate in the annual Audit.
I participated in my Union until I retired November 2022. I was the Treasurer, completed budgeting, monthly reconciliations, invoice approvals and cheque signing. I also was on the Bargaining committee for 3 rounds of bargaining. I am familiar with writing policy and language for Collective Bargaining Agreements. I also am familiar with doing presentations to individuals and groups via Zoom, Teams or in person.
