Jag Mangat

I am a Project Management Professional and Digital Marketing Specialist with over several years of experience.

In my experience I have increased web traffic by 30% through content strategies, produced diverse content, created multimedia campaigns, managed social media accounts, and adhered to brand guidelines. I developed innovative content strategies, monitored social media trends, and utilized Adobe Creative Suite.

I served as a project manager and scrum master, managing project life-cycle, planning sessions, conducting stakeholder consultations, developing proposals, assessing impacts, and drafting communication plans. I also review proposals, select successful bidders, and negotiate contracts. I maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, monitor project progress, and implement stakeholder engagement strategies.

I chair meetings, set objectives, and facilitate scrum team meetings to address system or program changes. I also provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing issues related to proposed changes and following up on implementation.

I have completed a BSc in Biology in 2005 and achieved my diploma in Public Administration in 2018.

I have completed the Masters certificate program for Project Management in February 2017.

This program was taught by University of Victoria and York University.

I am also enrolled in the Strategic Program and Project Management in the Public Sector Class at UVic.

In the Masters certificate program for Project Management (Oct 2016 to February 2017), everyday I was apart of mock projects that required me to direct the work of contracted and staff resources.

In December 2017 I earned my designation to become a Project Management Professional.

In 2019 I started to study Agile Project Management principles and became a certified scrum master in 2020 from Scrum Alliance.

In 2023, I graduated as a Digital Marketing Specialist from North Island College.
