Jasmine Kaur

As a Web and UX/UI Designer, I have a passion for creating user-friendly and accessible interfaces that enhance online experiences and align with business goals. I have a Postgraduate Degree in Computer and Information Systems from Douglas College and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute Of Technology.

I have worked as a Student Assistant at Douglas College, where I designed posters, team rosters, player profiles, and scoreboards for the Athletics website, collaborating with the Athletics & Recreation Coordinator and the social media designers. I have also worked as a Senior UI Designer at Mettl, an online assessment platform, where I revamped the website, presented design solutions to UX teams and stakeholders, conducted A/B testing and quality assurance testing, and applied Localization and Internationalization practices. I have a strong portfolio of projects that showcase my expertise in interaction design, responsive design, wireframing, prototyping, and iterative process, using Figma, a tool that I have mastered through multiple certifications and projects.

I am eager to learn new tools, refine my skills, and embrace fresh challenges. I excel in a collaborative team environment and thrive in a workplace culture that encourages growth and cooperation. I have a particular interest in online education, clean technology, the circular economy, city mobility, and projects with a strong sustainability or social impact focus.
