• Provide supervisor-level direction to a team of 4 maintenance technicians; assign daily work, prioritize tasks, coordinate manpower and ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and effectively.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance and planned work based on equipment condition, production requirements and maintenance priorities.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and work performance, including PM completion, breakdown response, equipment downtime, work-order status and recurring equipment issues; communicate maintenance performance and priorities to leadership.
• Manage CMMS activities including work orders, maintenance records, PM schedules, job status updates and documentation to maintain accurate maintenance history and support maintenance planning.
• Coordinate breakdown response and troubleshooting activities, ensuring technicians are assigned appropriately and equipment is returned to safe operating condition with minimal production disruption.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automation faults, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and provide technical direction to technicians during complex breakdowns and repairs.
• Lead root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement initiatives for recurring equipment failures; work with production, engineering and quality teams to improve reliability, reduce downtime and support production targets.
• Coordinate external vendors and technical service providers, including scheduling service, communicating technical requirements, supporting troubleshooting and following up on completed work.
• Communicate maintenance priorities, equipment condition, KPI performance, work status and corrective actions to management and cross-functional stakeholders; maintain clear technical documentation.
