Jeffrey Cheung

As a full-stack developer with a background in business analysis and operations management, I am passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. My experience in these areas has given me a unique perspective that allows me to approach software development with both technical and business considerations in mind. With a focus on creating efficient and effective solutions, I am motivated to tackle challenges head-on and drive successful outcomes. I am excited to continue exploring new technologies and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the digital landscape.

During my time at APE-X TOKEN and GALAXY GOGGLES DAO in Vancouver, B.C, I had the privilege of serving as a Business Analyst and Community Manager. In just two months, I was able to grow the DeFi community from 1K to 15K, utilizing data to devise strategic marketing plans and earning 50k+ impressions across Twitter, YouTube, and Tiktok. I was also instrumental in growing the DAO treasury's Total Value Locked (TVL) to $65M+ and reaching $100M+ in Market Cap. Additionally, I coordinated viral marketing campaigns such as billboards in Times Square, the giveaway of a Bored Ape NFT, and even sending the APE-X logo into space. Prior to this, I worked as an Operations Manager at Benchmark Botanics Inc. in Pitt Meadows, B.C. In this role, I was able to assess production processes and recommend improvements that increased productivity and minimized product defect rates. I also created streamlined production schedules and collaborated with production employees to communicate objectives and goals, all while meeting project deadlines without sacrificing quality or workplace safety and effectively managing costs and monitoring performance.

I completed the Lighthouse Labs web development bootcamp where I gained knowledge and expertise in various programming languages and frameworks. Throughout the program, I worked on full-stack projects and honed my skills to become a full-stack developer. This experience allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and equipped me with the necessary tools to build complex applications.
