I am a recent graduate from the University of Waterloo where I secured my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, with a minor in parks and conservation area management. In addition, I have good experience in the environmental monitoring field through my diploma in environmental assessment, and certification from the Ontario Benthos Biomonitoring Network.
I write you today to express my interest and excitement in the position of Environmental Monitoring Assistant, as I feel it would be an excellent opportunity to accelerate my career in the environmental management field.
I am a quick learner and adapt rapidly to any type of work environment and have 10 years of experience in administrative/detail-oriented positions. Since school, I have always loved playing around with data to identify trends and determine optimal solutions for ecological problems and feel this job would be an excellent first step in that regard.
