As I am relocating to Winnipeg Manitoba I am looking for work that will utilize my skills and experience in healthcare My experience in quality and process improvement within inter-professional teams, across systems and appropriately scaled change management frameworks will enable the team to strategize,operationalize and support change management.
I am able to partner and coach those currently in positions to facilitate change management. As a perpetual systems thinker I am constantly workingon the next steps to take to improve healthcare access and quality.
My mission is to not have all the answers but to facilitate change ideas with the knowledge keepers and those doing the work to change the work incorporating best practices among the way. .
Daily, I use quality improvement tools and resources to improve healthsystems to meet the needs of people being served. My greater than fifteen years of change leadership experience including primary healthcare, acute care and patient flow will facilitate change management across the organization. During my work as a patient flow Coordinator and I also facilitated hospital to home for all communities in NorthWestern Ontario.
Building partnerships, fostering and engaging with those that work in healthcare to improve quality and sustain results are my transferable skills. The standardization of processes to improve outcomes for clients and their families are skills important when leading in northern communities and working on change in the health care landscape.
I have 20 years of healthcare experience in Northwestern Ontario including extensive clinical experience and leading teams the past 11 years through change management
● Experience and success leading change with all levels of healthcare including Senior Executives, Physicians, Nurses, and Interprofessional teams both clinical and non-clinical
● Extensive clinical, leadership, quality improvement (QI) and project management skills including: process re-design, change methodologies LEAN and Six Sigma use for change management
● Experience in leading and completing required operating procedures(ROP’s) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for Canadian Accreditation

Primary Care all 4 sites, Diabetes Footcare Dietitian and Smoking Cessation,
Gender Affirming Care programs at 4 sites, Infection Prevention and Control
(IPAC) Lead and Privacy Officer. Developing and leading Interprofessional teams in the delivery of primary care and community programs.
Directing strategic priorities though community partnerships and using collaborative approaches to primary care that address the social determinants of health and improve health outcomes for diverse communities

My responsibilities include leading and managing Interprofessional teams in the delivery of community programs. Using multiple QI tools and resources my duties include:
● Managing the Our Health Counts Research Project, community programs, diabetes program and traditional wellness.
● Developing the proposal, creating the Centre and supporting daily operations of the new EarlyON Child and Family Resource Centre.
● Leading and responsible for the annual Health Quality Ontario, Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and leading the QI working group to execute the change ideas, metrics and demonstrate outcomes. Coaching leaders, Physicians, Point of Care Clinicians on quality improvement tools and best practices, developing outcome driven action plans for organizational and cross continuum improvement and sustainability
