Jennifer Bonvenuto

I am a dedicated, committed and enthusiastic ESL teacher with 12 years of experience. I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students and nationalities, both in the classroom and one-on-one tutoring settings. My approach to teaching is rooted in creativity, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students achieve their language learning goals.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating dynamic and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles. I incorporate personalized multimedia resources, real-life scenarios, and hands-on activities to make language acquisition not only effective but also enjoyable. As a Brazilian, I have been exposed to diverse challenging teaching scenarios, leading me to creatively overcome difficulties and find different ways of teaching.

I firmly believe that language learning should be a captivating journey, and I am committed to instilling a love for language in my students.

In my previous role at the Language Center of Mackenzie Presbyterian University, I successfully implemented innovative teaching methods that resulted in improved student engagement, proficiency and security. I have already taugh kids at Maple Bear Canadian School located in Brazil, in which I gained relevant experience to develop myself professionaly with this kind of public. Finally, in Canada, as permanent resident, I got the privilege of teaching English in a native-speaking country, validating my whole journey as an English teacher.

I have a Masters' Degree in Education and Languages, a professional course in Translating and Interpretating and also a Bachelor's Degree in Education and Languages.
