I graduated from Mohawk College in the two-year fast track paralegal program in June 2021, and the knowledge I gained would be best applied to the position you offer. Soon after graduating, I was a receptionist/legal assistant at Falconeri Rumble Harrisson LLP, a Personal Injury Law Firm in Toronto. There, I learned to become a diligent paralegal who excellently combines exceptional writing, communication and critical thinking skills to provide clients with the best service.
My educational experience gave me the skills I need to work in a fast-paced environment because being in an accelerated program, I had to gain and apply the knowledge in a fraction of the time. During my placement in the program, I assisted a lawyer in a criminal law firm and became competent at drafting and assembling documentary evidence, court files, affidavits, and other legal documents. As a result, I learned to be detail oriented, manage my time efficiently.
My proficient computer skills in programs like Word and Excel also keep me organized. In addition, my excellent people skills help me communicate brilliantly with a diverse range of people. All these are valuable skills that will help me excel in the paralegal field.
I am flexible with regards to work hours and I am willing to do anything necessary for the good of the company. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have further questions. I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate you for considering my resume.
Yours very truly,
Ms. Jenny Essah
