Jeremiah Jacobson

I am a computer science student currently pursuing a summer internship. My interests lie in web development and mobile development, but I am open to learning and adapting to new technologies. I am eager to gain hands-on experience in the field and excited to see where this opportunity takes me in my career.

As a computer science student with experience in web development, mobile development and data analysis, I have developed a range of skills that have been applied to several projects. I have experience in building a website using React and integrating with an API to fetch statistics from an NBA website, using Axios to retrieve and display data. I also have experience in mobile app development using Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Firebase SDK, SQLite, and UI/UX design, I created a task management app that allows businesses to assign, track and monitor tasks and employee performance.

Furthermore, I have experience in data analysis using Python, Flask, BeautifulSoup, RESTful API, and deploying the API on a cloud platform, Heroku. Currently, I am working as a drafting assistant collaborating with a Civil and Structural Professional Engineer to design and create AutoCAD 2022 drawings for city permit submission.

I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. My expected graduation date is in 2024. I have taken a variety of relevant courses such as Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, Software Engineering, Databases, Operating Systems, Microprocessors, Windows Application Programming, Linear Algebra and Statistics.
