15 years of experience spent working in the industrial sector, spending the majority of my time at sites such as Shell Scotford, IPL Heartland Complex and module fabrication yards. I decided to shift into a safety advisory role after being dissatisfied with the safety culture that many companies implement, and seeing many situations in which shortcuts were taken and resulted in incidents. With my background as an industrial pipefitter, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience that has helped me remain dedicated to keeping workers safe, practices compliant and company costs low through proactive safety management.
