Operator, Panel and Field. Control, monitor, and make all the necessary adjustments within the operations of the plant to maintain optimum plant performance. This includes plant start-ups and shutdowns, while maintaining safe conditions.
- Monitor and control the plant operations from the control room using the HMI control system.
- Monitor trends and alarms, while constantly watching the plant process conditions.
- Complete area routines in the plant to observe and verify the equipment status and overall plant conditions. e.g. safe plat conditions, tank levels, pressures, temperatures, flow rates, differential pressures, chemical addition, inventory, process quality, and preventative maintenance.
- Complete daily plant readings, Production Reports, Shift Logs, control panel shift checks, Safe Work Procedures, Safe Work Plans, and Work Permits. Prepare and execute lockout and tag-out of equipment, including confined space.
- Ensured compliance with Safe Work, Scope of Work, Field Level Hazard Assessments and Hot Work Permits.
- Perform housekeeping duties on and around running and locked out equipment in the plant process area, control room, and site grounds.
- Perform basic operational duties. e.g. changing process filters, unloading/loading spent filters, aligning valves, adding process chemicals, oils and lubricants as needed.
- Ensure that plant operations are conducted in a safe manner and that all safety and environmental regulations are followed.
- Notify all emergency response personnel and area supervisors in the event of a plant emergency.
- Help with area training, complete task analysts, work instructions for each task, field level assessments, and operating procedures.
- Commissioning and startup of the Legacy project.
