I am a a motivated and accomplished individual with a diverse range of skills and experiences. I have native fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, enabling effective communication with a diverse range of passengers. Additionally, I have intermediate fluency in Japanese. With a BSc. in Neuroscience (Honours) from the University of Calgary, I bring a strong academic foundation to the role of a flight attendant.
My strongest skill is exceptional customer service developed from 8+ years of various past customer experience roles. As a Private Venue Server & Caterer at the Calgary Stampede, I consistently provided a high level of service, ensuring guests' needs were met professionally, promptly, and courteously. I have also worked as a Dine-In Server and Host at Kinjo Sushi and Grill, where I maintained quality customer service for over 100+ customers daily and efficiently resolved daily conflicts and complaints.
Even outside of my employment experience, I am a communicator in various volunteering works. I am currently an active member of the Red Cross's Emergency Disaster Team, participating in deployments across Canada to respond to large-scale disasters. I also served as an Adult ESL Instructor for The Salvation Army, teaching English to disadvantaged immigrant populations in the Calgary community.
