Joel Rheault

I am Canadian born with Mexican heritage. I have earned my Ontario secondary school diploma and a university diploma studying in Police foundations. I am a husband and father of three, whom I love to grow with and share the experience the world has to offer.

I volunteer my time to many areas of the community. Varying from assisting the salvation army with any duties they may need. Assisting the Niagara Falls soup kitchen. Formerly assisted a in home care company ParaMed, as well as volunteering my law knowledge as security for events and many other organizations. Other aspects of my life include self-defense, physical training, and weapons proficiency. I am an avid car enthusiast who loves spending time with his family and growing as a person.

I am passionate about helping people and really enjoy the challenge of working with others. I give my time when I can, and would really love to have a career where the goal is to assist others and help build a strong community.

With 20 years of work experience I have worn many hats, from working as a mechanic and operating a CNC machine to working at a call center and delivery driver. I have been working as a Quality manager for PALFINGER North America for the last 3 years where my area of specialty is investigating the validation of warranty claims and reports of failures. All of which has provided many life skills that are transferable to many positions.

Other skills that will allow me to provide the best help possible to the public are interpersonal communication, integrity, attention to detail and the knowledge of the English, Spanish and sign language.

My most relevant education would be the police foundations diploma. Which has provided me with exceptional communication skills, judgment, and problem-solving skills with deductive reasoning as well as negotiation and de-escalation techniques. I work well in a team environment but also take great initiative working by myself.

I possess great flexibility, meaning I can adjust my methods or actions in different situations. I enjoy learning new technology and have the skills and proficiency to learn new systems with ease.
