Josh Fernando

Hello, my name is Josh and I am a 2nd year student at Toronto Metropolitan (Ryerson) University. My majors are 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 and 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 , with minors in 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. In addition to my studies, I am also a 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐭 at RBC, 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫 at Life100, and 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 at CashMoney.

I have a strong 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 for technology and am determined to become a 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫, 𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 someday. I believe that data can be a powerful tool for organizations, and I want to use my skills and knowledge to help them make informed of their decisions and achieve their goals.

Aside from my academic pursuits, I also enjoy staying up to date on the latest technology trends and exploring new software and tools. I am a 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 in lifelong learning, and I am always 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 for ways to improve my skills and knowledge.

I am excited to connect with other professionals in the 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 industry, and I am always open to new opportunities to learn and grow.
