Student Nurse at Innisfail Health Centre (2025-09 – 2025-10)

I worked at Innisfail Health Centre in the fall semester during my third-year clinicals in the BSCN program at Red Deer Polytechnic for approximately 136 clinical hours.

• Assigned to the care of select patients and was responsible for their care, such as medication administration, daily care, vital signs, wound care, and physical assessments.
• Documented assessments through Connect Care.
• Established rapport with patients using relational nursing practice.
• Collaborated with other nursing staff to provide the best possible care for patients.

Health Care Aide at Bethany Care Society (Collegeside) (2025-07 – 2025-09)

Worked as a casual Health Care Aide at Bethany CollegeSide from the end of July to the beginning of September.

• Worked in a variety of environments, such as A1 (Young Adults Program, A2 (Long Term Care), and B2 (Dementia Long Term Care).
• Collaborated with other Health Care Aides to provide the required care for all residents, such as peri care, showers, toileting, transfers, and assistance with feedings.

Worked on Unit 33: Stroke and Neurology at Red Deer Regional Hospital for my winter practicum in the BSCN program at RDP. Completed 64 hours of facility learning across a period of 4 months.
