I am Stz'uminus First Nation member, and mother of two adult children and one grandchild. I strong advocate for First Nation's people and work dilegently with government to design, support and implement programs for all ages: new born to adults. I am a Values-driven Indigenous leader with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in education, program development, community engagement, and organizational management.
Extensive experience working collaboratively with First Nations leadership, government agencies, educational institutions, and community partners to strengthen services and improve outcomes for Indigenous communities.

Education Director, Stz'uminus Education Society | 2025–26
Provide strategic leadership for the Stz'uminus Education Society, ensuring all education programs align with organizational priorities while supporting lifelong learning opportunities for community members.
Key Responsibilities: Lead organizational planning, budgeting, and operational management.
Develop annual operational plans and manage departmental budgets and funding allocations.
Build partnerships with universities, colleges, Indigenous organizations, school districts, and Band-operated schools. Coordinate post-secondary education services, including funding administration, student advising, and academic support.
Partner with Vancouver Island University to deliver community-based education programs including UCEP, Business Administration Certificate, and Adult Education initiatives.
Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs.
Implementation of education policies; assess gaps and design and develop policies to ensure program and services are delivered to meet needs of program and align with government funders.
Prepare successful funding proposals and ensure compliance with reporting requirements for multiple funding agencies.
Monitor program outcomes, financial accountability, and continuous improvement initiative.
