Julia Jacquelyn Amato

Hello! I am a student with experience in both the Restaurant and Service industries, looking for part time employment.

Hello! I am a Dalhousie University student who has both worked several jobs and held multiple volunteer positions. I have worked as an Usher and Barista at the Centennial Concert Hall for 2 years before leaving for school, as well as a Host and ice-cream Server at Dougies/Prairies Edge over the summer.

Previously I have been an English tutor for children in Seoul, South Korea. I am heavily involved in Folklorama, as I have been the Italian Youth ambassador and Youth Ambassador General for the past 2 years. I am currently remaining involved as a member of the Folklorama Youth Council.

In Halifax I am involved in several societies at school (Dal Outdoor Society, Kings Literary Society) and participate in monthly beach clean-ups.

• I attended Saint Mary's Academy from 2017 to 2023 where I graduated with the highest marks in AP Chemistry, AP Literature and Composition, as well as Canadian Law. 
• This year I attended both Dalhousie and University of Kings College in Halifax where I studied Biology and Environmental Science alongside an interdisciplinary program, Foundation Year Program, where we studied Classical and Contemporary philosophers and texts.
• Next year I will be attending University of Winnipeg with a focus in Physics.
