Justin Ames

I am a full time project manager looking for part time evening and weekend work. I hold Red Seal Endorsement and PMP certification and have over 30 years experience in Construction and management. I have also worked in the restaurant and bar industries over the years, even owning a restaurant in downtown Vancouver at one point. I am an outgoing person who enjoys working in a fast paced team environment. As a manager I look to support and get the best out of my team. I am passionate about music and enjoy DJing as a pastime. My claim to fame is winning first place for our float at “Woop Up Days” parade (Lethbridge 2023) DJing live from the box of a pick up truck! I am new to Calgary and I am looking for this job for two reasons 1: to help pay my rent and 2: to get out and meet people. I hope you will consider me for this position.

Worked for “Desserts” restaurants, multiple locations throughout Metro Vancouver, 1996-1998.

Owned and operated “The Mean Green Bean”, East Hastings, Vancouver 1998-2000.

Worked a number of pubs/bars in the UK. Northamptonshire, 2002-2005

Served in the British Military 1992-1996.

Although I have not put in my construction experience in my professional experience. I hold RSE in Carpentry, PMI PMP certification (both are degree level education).

I also hold a number of trade qualifications and Health & Safety certification.

I have valid 1st Aid.

I will be attaining my Pro-Serve certificate prior to starting any work in the service industry.
