I am a university student studying Software Engineering searching for a summer position.
In my current position as a Software Team Lead at York University Robotics Society, I have honed my leadership skills, leading a large team of over 50 members. This role involves managing project timelines, resources, and responsibilities, and coordinating communication to ensure clear understanding of objectives and progress among all team members. I have also had the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, particularly in the field of AI, where I implemented AI-based computer vision techniques and autonomous driving algorithms to enhance navigational capabilities.
Prior to my current role, I was a Software Team Member on the ESSENCE CubeSAT Project in collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, I demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and adaptability, successfully addressing complex challenges and internal issues. I also coordinated between the software and hardware teams for seamless integration and functionality, and worked on critical systems like the Attitude Determination and Control System.
Currently enrolled in a Software Engineering Honours Bachelor of Engineering (GPA: 3.8/4.0) at York University
