I am currently working as a researcher, but I have three years of delivery experience and client management services.
I am writing to express my interest in the Delivery Associate position at Amazon. Though I come from a strong academic and research background in microbiology and vaccine development, I am currently seeking a transition into a more hands-on, physically active role that allows me to stay productive, organized, and contribute to a fast-paced team environment.
My experience working in research labs across Canada and India, including at the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, has made me highly detail-oriented, dependable, and efficient with time management—skills that are essential for success in a delivery role. My previous experience managing lab operations also required strong logistical planning, inventory management, and daily coordination, all of which align well with Amazon’s delivery workflow.
I am confident in my ability to quickly adapt to new systems, follow safety protocols rigorously, and maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers. I’m also physically fit, having competed as a professional powerlifter, and enjoy work that requires stamina and focus.
I am excited about the opportunity to be part of Amazon’s delivery team and contribute to its mission of providing excellent service. I look forward to bringing the same discipline and commitment that I’ve shown in academia and athletics into this new role.
I hold a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Bharathiar University, India (2010–2014), where I conducted advanced research in molecular biology and vaccine development. I also completed an M.Sc. in Microbiology (2007–2009) from the same university, and a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Periyar University (2004–2007). My academic background has equipped me with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid foundation in scientific methodology—all of which contribute to my ability to work efficiently and systematically in professional settings.
