Kate Titley

I am a clinical Pharmacist, who has worked internationally for 4 years. I have recently become fully registered in Canada and authorized to administer drugs by injection. I will be completing my Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) training as soon as I am eligible. I have worked in hospital and community pharmacy environments in Australia, and then learnt the Canadian pharmacy system during my time as an assistant here. I am a driven, hard-working team member, who has experience working with patients and their circle of care to achieve the best possible health outcomes. My exceptional communication skills have given me the ability to ensure patients understand their medications and can therefore be advocates for themselves.

I believe patient's benefit the most from healthcare interventions when they are managed by a multi-disciplinary team. I therefore always endeavour to work with all members of the healthcare community to work towards a common goal. I promote living a healthy lifestyle to make sure that patients can have the best possible quality of life, no matter what stage of life they are at. My adaptability to all work environments has given me many opportunities to expand on my clinical knowledge, and I thrive in self-directed roles due to my time management and organizational skills.
