• Confirm personal care needs are met specific to each resident.
• Ensure all staff are aware of recent developments within the workplace by using written communication, verbal exchange of information, updating appointment calendars, daily logs, and medical records, etc.

• Provide a holistic approach to residents’ services including but not limited to: freedom of individuality, leisure skills, personal hygiene and appearance, physical and mental health, relationships, social skills, spiritual needs, skill
• Complete necessary tracking forms and documentation as requested by the supervisor; i.e. grocery cards, fire drill recording sheets, and monthly reports

• Helping clients with grocery shopping and meal preparation while ensuring they meet their daily nutritional requirements
• Planning client appointments and organizing their schedule
• Organizing transportation arrangements for clients based on their appointments
• Helping clients interact within their community and social network
• Showing compassion, sensitivity, and empathy when dealing with clients with a variety of healthcare issues

• To provide children and youth with disabilities an opportunity to take part in a variety of recreational activities within the community.
•  To create opportunities to develop new friendships and social skills through interaction with peer groups.
•  To create a safe and inclusive environment; which fosters independence, self-determination, personal growth and maturity for children and youth with disabilities
• Supervise 1- 6 clients who may have complex behaviors due their developmental, neurological, physical or mental illness disabilities
• To promote integration of children and youth with disabilities into the community’s leisure activities

•  Ensured that members and guests comply with policies in accordance with the City of Iqaluit’s Aquatic Centre policies and regulations

•  Assisted with day-to-day operations such as generating, renewing, and revising fitness and aquatic memberships 
•  Ensured supervision of young children by parents in aquatic facilities are met as per the pool regulation guidelines
•  Performed closing duties such as cashier balancing, clearing facilities and announcing closing time
