In my present role as an Ocean Export Supervisor for Locher Evers International, I have developed a wide range of skills to work with many various aspects of transportation and logistics industry.

• Manage all aspects of Ocean Export Operations.
• Specialized in shipping Hazardous, Containerized, Reefer, Oversize cargo and Bulk goods as well as LCL shipments.
• Working closely with Steamship Lines, Truckers, CN/CP Rail, and supply chain partners.
• Respond to RFPs and RFQs from clients and overseas offices/agents.
• Negotiating freight rates and contracts proactively providing pricing and routing solutions matching the scope of service required by the customer.
• Ensure export bookings/documents are processed in compliance with all applicable local, Federal and international laws, regulations, and legal obligations.
• Arrange the collection/pickups, create Bill of Ladings and all related documentation, CERS, etc.
• Maintain excellent contact with Steamship Lines, Truckers, and Vendors.
• Ensures the timeliness of Billing, File Closing, Document Turnover and Booking as well as Monthly Reporting for Senior Management.
• Customer Service
• Monthly forecasting and Planning Supply chain, Space allocation and Pricing strategy with the Sales team.
• Responsible for Coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff.
• Serves as the escalation contact for customers’ Ocean Freight Export shipments.
