I am a compassionate and dependable human services professional with a background in addictions and recovery, client support, and program coordination. I enjoy building positive relationships with people and creating a welcoming environment where they feel respected and supported. In my current role, I work closely with clients, families, and community partners, helping individuals navigate services, coordinating appointments and programs, and ensuring clients receive the support they need.

I take pride in being organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure. I enjoy working as part of a team but am also confident working independently and making decisions when needed. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn and grow, and I’m excited to bring my experience, strong communication skills, and passion for helping others to an organization where I can continue making a positive difference.

I have experience working in the addictions and recovery field as a Client Care Coordinator, where I support individuals throughout their recovery journey. My responsibilities include conducting client intakes, explaining services and the admissions process, coordinating referrals, maintaining confidential documentation, scheduling appointments and programming, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families.

In addition to administrative responsibilities, I facilitate programs, help supervise daily operations, respond to crises, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients receive the best possible care. I have also trained new employees and covered intake responsibilities during staffing shortages, which has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Through this experience, I have developed a strong ability to build trust with clients, manage multiple priorities, and provide compassionate, person-centred support while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

I completed my education in Correctional Services, where I developed a strong understanding of the criminal justice system, offender rehabilitation, case management, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and professional ethics. My education also strengthened my knowledge of working with vulnerable populations, effective communication, report writing, risk assessment, and maintaining safety while building respectful, professional relationships.

This education has provided me with a solid foundation for supporting individuals facing complex challenges and has complemented my hands-on experience in the addictions and recovery field. It has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and approach situations with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-focused mindset.
