Dear Sir/Madame,
I have obtained my 2-year Diploma in the Electrical Engineering Technician – Power program through Mohawk College. I have completed my Apprenticeship and received my Certificate of Qualification as a 309 Construction and Maintenance Electrician from the ministry of Labour. I look forward to be writing my test to become a qualified Journeyman early this year. I take great pride in the work I do which left me with a 93% average in my last term of school. Throughout my involvement in different work environments I have become aware that to become successful you must have quality workmanship with others, have a keen understanding of safety in the workplace and be always be willing to learn. These are qualities I strive to embody every day and are what has made me a successful apprentice and will make me a valuable Journeyman.
I am inspired by new opportunities and challenges. Throughout my career I have programmed, designed and implemented electrical drawings through AutoCAD and I am well educated in working with Allen Bradley PLC’s. have had the opportunity to work in: commercial environments, industrial environments, hazardous location’s, working in the vicinity of petroleum as well as overseeing other apprentices on several different occasions within these environments.
I am eager in working for your company as a Journeyman and look forward to putting the skills that I have learned into action as a member of your team.

Throughout my career I have developed a wide range of skills that will both meet and exceed expectations such as being: flexible to adapt to new environments, have strong organizational skills and be self-motivated. I have achieved these qualities by working through contracts for profound companies such as: Suncor Energy, CN Rail and Amazon. My work experience also includes working on construction sites as well as working with heavy and high voltage equipment.
