I am a student at the University of Alberta pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance. I am immensely interested in the financial world and am seeking opportunities that can enhance my knowledge and background. I am also studying for the Investment Funds in Canada examination, with the goal of opting for the CA certification in the future. I finished high school while taking finance-centered courses like Accounting, Economics, Business, and international business. In addition, I have completed the Capstone Diploma, which has given me excellent communication, research, and presentation skills.
My previous experience includes working as a summer community service volunteer and marketing intern. I volunteered for various cultural and religious groups, leading a team and managing crowds of up to 400 attendees. I directly dealt with the organizers to understand their priorities and objectives. In addition, the team also handled all of the devotees' inquiries or passed them to the appropriate supervisor. Furthermore, my marketing internship for the Board of Education campaign allowed me to perform door-to-door operations with a motive to increase the vote bank. These experiences have made me fantastic at talking with people and have provided me with great relationship-building skills.
