Hello, my name is Kidus Amberbir and I am a bilingual retail and video expert with over four years of experience. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Digital Communications at Humber College's Institute of Technology, with an expected graduation year of 2023.

Throughout my career, I have maintained a positive attitude, strong reliability, and excellent teamwork skills. In my previous role at Best Buy Canada, I was responsible for product process and merchandising, ensuring that all company regulations were followed and performing various warehouse duties. I also built lasting relationships with vendors such as Google Chrome, Sony, and Samsung, which allowed for smooth communication and timely shipment processing.

Being fluent in Amharic, the national language of Ethiopia, has enabled me to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, showcasing my strong communication skills. Additionally, my technical skills, including expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, drone piloting, and videography, make me a valuable asset to any team. Currently, I am a Videographer/Editor/ Social Media member of the Humber Hawks Athletics team, filming and editing sports games, coordinating with coaches and players, and creating engaging content for social media.

My achievements have also been recognized, winning the 2022/2023 Jim Bialek award with the Humber Hawks. As a collaborative team player, I am able to work independently and with people from different backgrounds to achieve a common goal.

In my free time, I enjoy photography and traveling. My passion lies in using my skills to tell engaging stories and connect with people.
