Work as a bartender/mixologist in a professional hotel environment, preparing and serving a wide variety of cocktails, highballs, wine, beer, and specialty beverages while maintaining Hilton's standards of guest service. Responsible for providing friendly and efficient service, accurately taking and preparing drink orders, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and completing opening and closing duties. BARTENDER at THE PINT-WHITE (2025-01 – Present)
High-speed job with constant movement, constantly mixing, pouring, and making drinks. Working as a porter beforehand gave me the skills to open and close the bar, moving into bartending. Furthermore, this knowledge gave me a grasp on the overall layout of the bar as well as experience to transfer that knowledge to other establishments.
BARTENDER at THE CANADIAN BREWHOUSE (2025-01 – Present)
a large menu with a variety of different drinks, ranging from highballs to bulldogs and unsung, requiring a lot of bar knowledge of how drinks are made, because of the big menu the Brewhouse has. Additionally, I have serving experience as the closing bartender, so I know how to do my own cash-out and bar close.
BACKBAR/PORTER at BEERCADE (2023-01 – 2025-12)
A high-paced work environment requires a lot of heavy lifting and manual labor, with porters having to move around frequently and carry large boxes of liquor at a time. Furthermore, porters are trained in counting and weighing alcohol, knowing the general bar layout, and knowing how to clean all of the equipment for bartenders.
