I worked as a General Labourer, doing everything from Carpentry to Running a Mini Excavator. Landscaping, Building, Tear Downs.

Processor Operator at Avid energy services inc. (2021-09 – 2022-01)

I was a Processor Operator, and a Labourer on my down time when not Processing. I also on occasion ran Rock Truck to build lease roads. While Processing I worked in clear cut decks and on lease sites.

Loader Operator at Eastern Embers (2020-07 – 2020-09)

Used a wheel loader to mix various types of wood chip material to feed a Hammer Mill, turning the product into sawdust. Using the wheel loader to then push and ramp the sawdust material in a building. Then feeding the main hopper to the Pellet Plant.

And if necessary filling the Fuel Hopper with the designated material to keep the burner running. Directing truck drivers where to unload thier material on the pad and working around them to continue to feed both the Hammer Mill and the Main Hopper. Also communicating with the Plant Operator when switching to different Rows of Material, communicating any and all Loader maintenance or any other issues the loader may be having, along with any and all maintenance the Main Hopper or Hammer may need.

Camp Supervisor at McGlynn Contracting (2019-01 – 2019-09)

Started as a Processsor Operator, I then worked up to "supervisor", Ordering and Picking up parts, keeping track of Filters and Inventory, tracking fuel consumption along with all other fluids for machinery. Ordering Fuel, Propane and Water.

Processor at A.K Goodwin (2017-09 – 2018-06)

Ran a 845 Tigercat processor with a Wartah harvester head, and a John Deere 2054 processor which also had a Wartah harvester head.

Processor at E & R Langille Contracting Ltd. (2017-01 – 2017-03)

I had run a 870 Tigercat with a hornet head, Cutting various lengths and types of wood. I grease and do general maintenance to the machine and help the mechanics if there is a big break down. Travel to various locations around Nova Scotia and sometimes stay in motels through out the week.

• Operated John Deere 230c LC target/hornet fixed head, Operated John Deere 1710D when required, greased and fixed minor break downs. Checking Motor Oil, Hydraulic Oil, Gear Oil in pumps and swing motor.
• Able to maintain a steady flow of wood for the porter/forwarder operator, Became proficient at making the piles of wood I processed neat and clean for the forwarder operators, and when piling the wood road side for the log trucks. Delivery Driver at EasyHome Franchise (2012-03 – 2013-08)

• Drove a cube van daily delivering and picking up furniture, also did reposession when customers fell behind on payments, made and took phone calls for customer inquiries. Cleaned and maintained show room floor. Made sales of various items in the store.
• The ability to deal with a stressful situation involving upset customers, driving a larger then normal vehicle. The abilitly to be quick and efficent at all the task i was handed.

Carpenters Helper at MGK Contracting (2011-07 – 2012-08)

• Maintained a clean work environment, Applied vinyl siding, shingles, installed windows and doors into customers homes, setup scaffolding to use in the application of vinyl siding and shingles, used safety harnesses to secure myself to safely work at heights.
• Learned the proper customer service tools to be successful in the industry, Problem solving skills to fix an issue on the spot to allow the work site to continue in a timely manner, the use of different tools that are involved in the carpentry industry.
