Unit: 3rd west (hemodialysis and ventilator / chronic complex care). Skilled and experienced in Medically complex clients on mechanical ventilators (bed side and ambulatory / chair ventilator). Complex tracheostomy with different kinds (open suction catheter and in-line suction catheter), skilled in trach / oral suctioning, cough assist, peg tube insertion and Peg medication and feeding, complex wound dressing. Trach care and peg care. Complex care of peritoneal and hemodialysis resident. Knowledge and skilled in operating peritonea dialysis machine. Skilled in NG tube insertion, enteral nutrition, and medications via NG tube in accordance with established safety protocols, ensuring accurate placement verification via pH testing and residual checks. Monitor vital sings, administer medication orally, IV, peg tube feeding. Unit 3rd east (EQuaL and chronic complex care): EQuaL (Enabling Quality of Life) – for adults aged 18 to 64 who have disabilities related to a disease or condition, such as multiple sclerosis or a brain injury, currently requiring the full-time support of a continuing care centre.
