My experience covers a range of duties from PSW Student to Caregiver and to PSW Assistant. These duties include personal care , feeding, lifting and transferring the clients from the bed to the chair with a walker, also to the bathroom with the commode, giving bed baths/perennial care, performing skin care tasks, doing oral hygiene, intercontinental brief changing, toileting, changing catheter bag, assisting with medication as requested by the nurse and monitoring, documenting changes in behaviour signs and symptoms, providing companionship and social conversation, general assistance as directed by the nurse.
