With a desire for continuous education I find the field of Health and Safety engaging. I enjoy the interpersonal part of health and safety work, and believe that having a calm, analytical approach plus a sense of humour is an asset. With about 5 years of experience in the health and safety industry I am well versed in health and safety management systems and building a strong safety culture. My passion is around legislation and making it understandable and applicable for the rest of the team I work with. I have experience with working collaboratively with the team to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and corporate standards.
I have experience in leading incident investigations and developing corrective actions. I am an active member of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety meetings.
