Lauren Munro

I am an ambitious graphic designer looking for new ways to communicate a new message.

I love designing materials such as posters, billboards, editorial design, print, and digital design. In addition to being passionate about graphic design, I also love photography.

What differentiates me from other graphic designers is that I incorporate my photography skills into my design work.

A few months later, I have been doing freelance work. I recently helped a company, Lonely Road Club, in British Columbia with its branding.

I have completed a three-month internship with TMW Unlimited, a global advertising agency in London. I attended internal meetings, prepared an animation for a large international company, participated in creative discussions regarding various projects, designed a digital ad for Facebook, and design an A4 poster for print for a client (included in my portfolio). Created animated GIFIs for social media, and designed internal Instagram stories where they shared current graphic designs to inspire other graphic designers. I was happy to accept direction as I worked to complete projects. I also understand the importance of focusing one's full attention on detail when working on multiple projects.

I graduated from New Brunswick Community College in 2022. I studied Graphics and Communications Design. Over the past 2 years, I have worked closely with Adobe Creative Cloud and I understand the importance of design fundamentals, print, social media, and digital design. I also have developed a strong understanding of audio and video editing software.

Prior to NBCC, I studied Business Administration and Communications at the University of New Brunswick. Where I learned the importance of time management and effective communication, as well as collaborating with others to complete projects/assignments successfully.
