With over 10 years of experience working closely with diverse communities throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), I have gained valuable insights and knowledge that have shaped my approach to advocacy and empowerment. I am dedicated to creating sustainable solutions that have a measurable impact on the lives of individuals and communities. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
By leveraging my expertise in operations management and partnership coordination, I strive to bridge the gap between vulnerable populations and the resources and support they need. My track record reflects a commitment to advocacy, listening closely to the voices of those I serve, and empowering them to be active participants in their own journey. I have successfully collaborated with diverse stakeholders to drive meaningful change and create lasting impact.
8 years on the frontline in client facing roles which included behaviour therapy support, family dynamics coordinator, facilitating programs and services to increase the quality of life of vulnerable individuals of varying vulnerable populations. Creating healthy workplaces and environments where everyone can find their voice and where they belong is the most important part of my career path. I embody the ethics, values and standards of practice that the CASW and OCSWSSW formulates as a guideline for social services workers.
Partnered with a home healthcare franchise owner and successfully developed the business to increase revenue, decrease employee and contractor turnover while improving client relations by 75 percent in the first year and a half. Daily operations of the business, full cycle recruiting and care plan designs were done as a 1 person team.
2 years higher education teaching experience where I met the KPI's for each semester relating to the students, faculty and partners goals. Oversaw 160 full time students through classroom management processes, and liaised with community partners for their future internships, while ensuring appropriate mentorship was given specially to those students struggling in the program.
