Professional Driver
After leaving the Armed forces, I began driving class 3 & 1 in the Alberta oilfield where I started as a swamper, working my way to senior trainer for Peak energy and Flint energy.
In ten years of oilfield I have operated: fluid transfer trucks and pups or wagons, semi vacs, dump trucks, steamer, hydrovac, pressure trucks and 53 foot dry van - TL & LTL.
My experience has allowed me to: drive a lot of western Canada, work on 'ice road right of ways', mountain experience in B.C. and inner city pick up and delivery. In my previous occupation as a journeyman plumber responsible for apprentices, I understand the requirements of both training and being trained. Constantly learning and advancing my skill level to be a greater asset to my employer is what I strive for. I am a team player and work well with others.
